Welcome everybody to our Year 10 Blog.
Generally I will be updating the Blog every four weeks and more often as required. We have had a great start to the year with many teachers reporting how Year 10 have made an enthusiastic and positive start to the year.
The first Regular Assessment Tests(RAT 1) will start the week beginning 19th October . To support our students with this , Year 10 will be focussing on different Active Revision techniques during Tutorial time for the next fortnight. This will help them improve their skills in this area as well guiding them into being fully prepared and confident for thier first experience of answering GCSE questions in all their subjects. The tutors have also been supporting the students by helping them create a homework schedule to help Year 10 students with their increased homework requirements. In addition to this the Prefects have been supporting Year 10 by giving them invaluable guidance and advice about how to cope with the considerable increase in workload for Year 10 students.
